We have finished picking sweet
cherries for this year. We do have some for sale at the farm for
the same price as pick your own ($2.00 per pound)
We are now picking yellow plums and apricots.
Yellow plums and apricots will be available for the next 10 days to two
weeks. We have finished our first two varieties of peaches, and the
next ones will be ripe for picking starting within the next five days.
If the weather is hot over the next few days, we will most likely have
peaches for picking by holiday Monday (August 2). We will update our
website as soon as they are available. Once those varieties start, we
will have excellent peach picking for approx. three to four weeks.
We do not have an admission fee or an entrance fee, but
we do have require a minimum
purchase of $3/adult and $1/child age
6-12 (under 6 no charge). This is paid on the way into the orchard, and
is deducted from your final picking total. This means that each adult
that enters the orchard must pick at least $3 worth of fruit. The reason
we have a minimum purchase is so that our customers do not go in the
orchard just to eat!
